Hearts & Flowers - wpclipart If She’s The One Make it Count this Valentine’s DayValentine’s Day is the day for lovers and buying her flowers, chocolates and cute little teddy bears is nice but for those who really want to make an impression are going to have to think a little more.
She’s not just a girlfriend, she’s The One. The one searched for in a crowded room, the one who makes a man’s head and body feel crazy and calm all at the same time. That in mind who wouldn’t want to show how much she matters. It’s time for him to prove that he understands her like no one else does.
How to Show Her that She is Unique this Valentine’s dayThis is the time when he really needs to do some solid thinking. Maybe pull out a notebook and pen and start jotting down what he knows about his lady love.
What makes her tickWhat does she want out of lifeWhat’s her “Thing” (Does she write or play an instrument or Paint?”)What are her dreams? Has she ever revealed a secret wish? Even a silly one?Has anything been bothering her lately? Is she concerned about national or world issues? Has she been working too hard?Putting it all Together: Romantic Elementary My Dear WatsonNow it's time to take this list and really think about how one could show true understanding of her as a person apart from all the others in the world.
If she’s artistic (Painter, writer, musical) perhaps something to inspire her to create. A leather bound journal, sheet music, maybe take in a view somewhere really breathtaking.Has she been worried lately (more then usual) about world events or poverty? Perhaps sponsor a child together.Has she been bored, sick of her job and in need of a challenge or an adventure? Take her camping, hiking, rock climbing, sky diving.Sometimes it’s the simplest gestures that mean the most. Never underestimate a worth of a little quiet time together. Sitting and chatting about the day, the week, the year. Sounding out the mistakes and successes of the past and adding some plans for the future can be a wonderful way for two people to seal their relationship and show honest, binding love.
And don’t forget the most important part! The words, “I love you.” Tell her how she makes every day worth living. Christmas and Birthdays are for family and kids; Valentine’s Day is for romantic love.
